Started off with a BANG this week – my hubby-to-be and I purchased a super nice camera for our Honeymoon (the Sony A5100), and after spending a month with it, I was feeling ready and practiced enough to film a Plan-With-Me. So I did! Filmed my first PWM annnnnnnnd my head was in the shot the entire time. Fabulous. So no PWM this week – next week I’m hoping.
I really loved the look of this weekly spread – the purple and turquoise were so dreamy and creamy together, and I could totally vibe with the calm, serene feel to it. I was initially inspired by a weekly kit from Simply Watercolor Co. on Etsy, and branched out from there. Also let’s take note of the double countdowns, people! DOUBLE COUNTDOWNS!! For it is now double countdown time until our wedding and honeymoon. I am so pumped. Get pumped. There are a lot of wonderful things to be excited for, and I plan on enjoying every last one!! xo
Unlike last week, this week was very laid back – I had a break from grading (which I will not have next week), and the only thing I really had to focus my energy on was play practice, and a lot of family time which is wonderful. I worked out for the first time in forever. Twice. It was a big deal. Big days coming ahead. I also loved coloring my little sticker from
I started a DIY project with my dad and hubby-to-be Sunday afternoon, which I am hoping to carry over and finish Monday We purchased a 6 pane glass window for about $25, and are building a cabinet around it for bathroom storage- it’s actually pretty cool. The only other expense was about $30 of hardware to complete it. The wood is repurposed wood from my parent’s house. I’m so freaking proud of this cabinet! It love that it uses wood from my childhood home, and I love the memories invested in making it as well – it’s definitely a piece that I will treasure for the rest of my life! I’ll post pictures when I have them – it’s currently sitting on the floor in my living room sooooo yea. There’s that.
Next week is about to get a little hectic, so I was thankful for the rest and relaxation of this week to mentally prepare! Happy planning, everyone! xo
