What a week – I’m starting to feel burned out, tired, and unable to catch up with all the work I have to do. Anyone else ever feel that way?? Sheesh.
Monday Morning Rolls around – I was feeling yucky after the wedding last week (outside, in the mud, backless dresses, no sleep, running constantly), so I took a sick day Monday, and even though I was under the weather I still used that time to get caught up on all the crap I didn’t do last week. Bought food – folded laundry that was piling up – cleaned the house and just rested. Sidebar: Totally obsessed with watching Disney Vlogs on YouTube. That’s all I’ve been watching recently. I mean, I always watch a lot of YouTube because we don’t have cable – just Netflix – but there is something about Disney Vlogs that just get me in the Disney Spirit. The first half of our honeymoon we will be spending in Disney, and the Vlogs have just been getting me more and more excited.
Tuesday and Wednesday were pretty laid back. I looked at my schedule and realized I had COMPLETELY forgotten about a dress fitting I had scheduled until the night before. I know. Whoops. However, I did make it to the dress fitting for my wedding dress!!! Squeeeee! So excited. Thursday I was at work all day, because I had to work tech for the Spring Music Concert at work. It definitely makes me appreciate all the hard work that goes into running the sound board – I’m usually on the other end of the Mic. Friday was hectic because I caught up with two different friends of mine- which was fun busy – but busy none the less.
When we woke up Friday morning, there was no hot water, and immediately I panicked because I was seriously concerned that we were going to need a new Hot Water heater, which we DEFINITELY cannot afford a month before our wedding. But thank goodness my dad was able to fix it 🙂 Gotta love dads <3<3<3 I did, however, miss the read through I was supposed to attend this afternoon as a result (I’m playing a Mersister in The Little Mermaid this summer). Sunday I was able to listen to my mom give a speech – I was so proud of her! They named the library of my high school after one of my former teachers who spent 35 years teaching there. It was really moving.
As far as the my planner itself is concerned – I really based my weekly spread after a weekly kit from Elegant and Organized on Etsy (Save 15% with Code Ellen15). I loved all of the cute allusions to the planning community, especially the “#washiaddict” and “On Sundays, we Plan” stickers. So cute! The official listing is called “Planner Girl Quotes Sticker Set” and you can click here to purchase. Adorable. I used a lot of glitter in this spread, and the bright and fresh color pallet has really put me in the mood for spring…despite the cold and rainy weather we’ve been accustomed to on our end. I also absolutely LOVE the pink, yellow and blue floral washi tape used in this spread. I think it’s part of the Michael’s Recollections collection. So fabulous. I’m looking forward to summer time – it cannot come soon enough!!! xoxo
